NEW YORK, NY – APRIL 21:  Really pumped to shoot the Taxi Driver 40th Anniversary tonight.  Tonight I’m shooting for ‘The Wrap’, which is an outlet that Getty works with.  Scheduled to be there is Robert De Niro, Jodie Foster, and Cybill Shepherd.  Turns out that Harvey Keitel, who plays the pimp in Taxi Driver, showed up as well.  I get to the Beacon pretty early and its a good thing because there’s a good number of photographers there already when I arrive.  Setting up for this one was pretty rough as the lighting was a mess.  It’s alway amazing to me that so much goes into an event like this and they get the lighting wrong. Jennifer Morrison, Patrick Wilson, Michael Moore, and a few more walk the carpet before Jodie Foster arrives. Then Robert De Niro arrives with his wife, Grace Hightower, and Harvey Keitel.  Unfortunately De Niro, in typical De Niro fashion, zips right thru the carpet and leaves us all shaking our heads. 🙁  It doesn’t look like we’re going to get the group shot, which I already have a spot on my wall for… Bummer.  Check out a few of the pics below.
