Friday and tonight I’m shooting the 2016 “Honda Civic Tour: Future Now” with Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas at Barclays Center in downtown Brooklyn.  Shooting from the soundboard which is alway kinda a bummer, but it turns out the tour stage has a runway that brings the artists a bit further into the crowd and closer to the photographers. Also a plus tonight was Jaime Foxx and Desiigner joining Lovato and Jonas on stage.

Been a Nick Jonas fan, don’t tell anyone, since I shot him in 2014 at a pop up concert at the Peter Tunney Gallery in NY. And although not a Demi Lovato fan, she sings incredible. Jamie Fox joined Lovato onstage to perform a cover of Ray Charles’ rendition of “Georgia on My Mind” and a bit of the Kanye hit “Gold Digger” which Foxx sang the chorus on the original recording.  Also joining Lovato and Jonas onstage was Brooklyns own Desiigner to perform his smash hit “Panda”, which honestly left all the photographers scratching their heads wondering what just happened… It almost seemed like Demi and Nick were wondering the same thing as they watched Desiigner perform in his very unique style… Haha.
